CPAS Version 5 allows you to specify multiple beneficiaries (by plan) or use the same beneficiary The person appointed by the plan member to receive any benefits payable from the Plan upon the death of the member. for all plans.
From the Account Maintenance process,select Designation, and then select a plan in the upper browser to view plan-specific beneficiary details such as the Beneficiary Number, the Percent (used for division of benefit for a Death calculation), and Joint Annuitant (Yes/No; used for J&S pensions).
Depending on your security level, from this screen, you can:
Click Edit to go to edit mode and change the beneficiary's percentage designation. Note: The total percentage designation for all beneficiaries must equal 100%.
From the Account Maintenance process, select New Beneficiary to launch the Beneficiary Wizard.
