How to Clone an Existing Plan Online

Location: Plan Setup/Clone Plan

 

Use the following steps as a guide to clone an existing plan online:

  1. From the Plan Setup process, click to select the Clone Plan event. The system displays the Clone Plan wizard.

  2. Select a For Client from the drop-down list. Options include all Clients that have been set up for the selected schema, including the selected client.

  3. Select a From Client from the drop-down list. Options include all Clients that have been set up for the selected schema, including the selected client.

  4. Select a From Plan from the drop-down list. Options include all Plans that have been set up for the selected client.

  5. Enter the Short (System) and Long (Reporting) names.

  6. Use the Calendar to enter an Effective Date.

  1. Click Next to advance to the Plan Details screen.

  2. Select a Tax Domain. Options include all tax domains in your system.

  3. Enter any plan-related Remarks.

  1. Click Next to display a Summary.

  1. If the Summary is correct, click Finish. After some processing time, the system automatically adds your new plan to the list and copies the structure and all rules from the selected source plan.

  2. Display the Plan drop-down list to ensure your new plan has been added to the list. Note: Depending on your refresh configuration, you may need to log out and log back into the system.
