How to Find and Open an Employer Online

Use the following steps as a guide to search for and open an employer online:

  1. Click the Search from the online toolbar to open the Search dialog.

  2. From the Search For drop-down list, select Employer.

  3. Enter an Employer Name (in this case, ABC) of the employer you want to open.

  1. Click Submit. The system displays a list of employers where the Employer Name begins with ABC.

  1. From the Search Results list, click on the Short Name of the employer you want. The system opens the employer and displays the name in the process area header.

Note: The Employer Name displays only for employer-type processes. The most-recently selected employer will remain as the 'current employer' until it is changed by the user by searching for and selecting a new 'current employer' (even if you perform member- or client-type processes, use the Profile to change the current client, or log out and log back in).
